This is my sixth blog. It's what I do. I write because I need to write; it's how I make sense of the world. There are no aspirations here, just expression and exploration.

What's the deal with cranberry thunderfunk?

A lifetime ago, I was starting a group blog with some friends. I chose the pen name CAPTAIN THUNDERFUCK, but they rejected it because it was too powerful. I was a stoner at the time, so I softballed it to cranberry thunderfunk.

This is the only moniker flexible enough to feel like I can be authentic in whatever medium I'm working in. It's also a reminder to myself not to get too far up my own asshole.

cranberry thunderfunk wasn't up to the task of reporting on fascism. A new hero was needed.
